About this role
What you would do
Feeding cats, including wet food, prescription diets and supplements
Cleaning rooms: litter pans, sweeping, mopping and changing bedding
Washing dishes and doing laundry on commercial machines
Socializing cats through petting, play and behavioral training
Giving facility tours and accepting donations
Aged to Purrfection: therapy visits to senior facilities
Cat stroller walks on the sanctuary grounds
Gardening, minor repairs, photography and administrative work
Tabby's Place is a cat sanctuary on Route 202 in Ringoes. Volunteers commit to a regular shift, either weekly or twice a month, and shifts run two to three hours. Everyone attends an orientation before starting.
