About this role
What you would do
- Portion freshly prepared meals in the kitchen
- Do light meal prep and kitchen clean up
- Distribute meals
- Restock the marketplace
- Hand out protein, produce, milk and eggs at the Free Farmers Markets
- Assist at events
- Help with administrative tasks
- Off-site programs: Rise & Shine Breakfast Bags, Toiletries Bag Program and Vital Veggies
nourish.NJ serves people facing hunger and homelessness in Morris County, with sites in Morristown and Dover. Volunteers work in the kitchen, at the marketplace and at free farmers markets alongside staff. Shifts run Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Off-site programs give groups with younger members a way to help from home.
