About this role

What you would do

  • Sort and organize rescued produce in the warehouse
  • Break down large quantities of donated goods
  • Shop for and pack the orders of CUMAC guests
  • Sort and organize dried and canned donations
  • Interact with guests who come in to pick up food
CUMAC feeds people facing hunger in Paterson and nearby towns. Donated and rescued food arrives in bulk, and it takes hands to turn it into orders a family can carry home. Volunteers work in the warehouse and marketplace at 223 Ellison Street. Shifts are two hours long and run Monday through Friday.
