About this role

What you would do

  • Ride at least two three hour shifts each week
  • Remain at squad headquarters while on duty
  • Serve the community through volunteer emergency medical services
  • Carry standard first aid or equivalent training plus CPR-BLS for professionals
New Providence Rescue Squad answers emergency medical calls for the borough with volunteer crews. The cadet program gives high school students a way to work in their own community and see emergency medicine up close. Cadets hold the same medical certifications as full members and are expected on shift every week.
