About this role
What you would do
Library Page: shelving books, shelf reading, pulling titles, craft prep and assisting as needed on a set schedule
Teens Teaching: help younger students learn in a relaxed setting while building planning, speaking and teaching skills
Children's Programming: help the Children's Librarian with monthly programs, including Lego Club and Afternoon Craft Club
Social Media Marketing: plan and film reels and other social media posts for the library
Summer Reading Volunteer: support the library's summer reading programming
New Providence Memorial Library serves readers of every age in a small suburban town. Teen volunteers keep the collection in order and help staff run programs for younger children. Library Page training begins in September, and children's programming sign-ups open at the same time. Shifts follow a set weekly schedule.
