Scotch Plains Public Library serves readers of all ages in Union County. Teen volunteers work in the building alongside library staff. Shelf-reading runs as weekly shifts, and event and craft help is offered by email as tasks come up. The library cannot guarantee any one volunteer a set number of hours.
