Located in Paterson, New Jersey, CUMAC’s mission is to fight hunger and its root causes through a holistic, trauma-informed approach that provides groceries and basic necessities to families and individuals in need in Paterson and Greater Newark area.
Each year, CUMAC has a profound impact on the community where we serve. In 2020, we have distributed more than 1.9 million pounds of food and helped more than 35,939 families.
We are looking for high school volunteers who will come to our food shelter located in Paterson to sort and distribute foods onsite as well as volunteers who will host food drives at the choice of your location, cause and events. All volunteer hours are logged and count toward community service hours for high school students.
