About this role
What you would do
- Be a mentor and helper for kids during summer camp
- Support environmental educators with camp set-up and clean-up
- Assist with camp activities alongside the environmental educators
- Attend the volunteer training day held before camp begins
- Commit to a minimum of two weeks of camp
Cora Hartshorn Arboretum sits on 16 acres of historic woodland garden. Nature Discovery Camp gives young children an early close look at plants, animals and trails. Volunteers spend camp days outdoors with the educators who run each session. The arboretum also holds High School Volunteer Days during the school year for forest restoration and trail maintenance.
