What you would do
- Return library material to shelves and maintain shelves
- Help prepare children's craft projects
- Index local history information
- Do general clerical work
- Assist the Friends of the Library organization
- Choose interest areas: Special Events, Craft Prep, Inventory Projects or Shelving Tasks
The library system runs a teen crew alongside its adult volunteers. You pick the branch you want and the kind of work you want to try. Staff use the program to build customer service skills and practice working with many kinds of people.
